Extra metal
This error can be identified with extra metal on reverse.
It can be caused by a grain of metal missing from the rimming, remained on the collar in whole or in part. Normally, the blank falls on the bottom die by the force of gravity. Then, these blanks are pushed onto the bottom die by the striking strenght. This causes the metal sliding on the collar and a part of it holds on it causing extra metal.
